Please note:

• There is a service charge of RUB 1,370 /- (inclusive of VAT) per application over and above the visa fees for all applicants.
• Visa Fees are payable in Russian rubles as per the prevailing exchange rates.
• The fees are non-refundable.

Visa fee exceptions:

Attention! The decision on exemption from the Consular fee is made only on the basis of the submitted documents and their compliance with the requirements of the Embassy of Spain.

• Children under 6 years;
• Family members of EU citizens (when traveling to Spain with an EU citizen or for the purpose of family reunification with him):
  • spouses, registered partners, cohabiting couple, if there are supporting documents
  • Children and children of a spouse/cohabitant who have not reached the age of 21 or older, but are dependent or incapacitated, etc.

Service fee exceptions:

"Checklist"

Below you can find the list of requisite documents that you need to provide while applying for a Schengen visa.

Please take into account the following information before you apply for a visa:

• Each applicant (including minor children) has to present a separate (individual) set of documents.
• If your application is incomplete and you still wish to submit it, the visa application centre can accept your documents but will bear no responsibility for any possible negative consequences: delays in processing, restrictions on entries (f.ex, one entry visa instead of multiple entry visa) and days of stay and even denial. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to submit complete application.
• Please, be aware that in case of previous refusal in any Schengen visa the Consulate General of Spain will contact the relative Consulate/Embassy in order to make enquiries about the reason of refusal. This procedure can take some time.
• All documents must be typed. Hand-written documents will not be accepted. Copies of documents must be taken only on A4 paper format.
• The Consulate General of Spain in St.Petersburg can demand any additional documentation or information in case of necessity. Please, do not send any documents directly to the Consulate. If there is a request of any additional document, Spain visa application centre will contact you by phone.

If the applicant is not registered in our zone but working with company in Saint Petersburg then he/she must provide documents through which he/she can prove that he/she living in Saint Petersburg from long time:

Confirmation for professional status:

• Letter from Company stating his salary, designation, joining date, with full address of company and contact details duly signed & stamped.
• Statement of salary account (In which he/she getting salary every month from his company).

Rules of submission under urgent scheme (“Urgent Visa”)

"Urgent Visa" service is available in Saint-Petersburg only for citizens of Russia and other countries that signed Visa Facilitation Agreement with the European Union and can be used only by seamen and people going to Spain for business affairs. In Murmansk the service is available on any working day from 09:00 till 12:00, only for seamen and stipulated the collection of documents on 5th working day excluding the day of submission. For instance, submission is on Monday, collection is on Monday of the next week, unless there are additional holidays.

As per the new Russian law on personal data protection, all applicants who are applying themselves or through a courier representative need to ensure that the forms are signed by each Individual and submitted along with their application. To download form please click here

Please, submit your Application form with the new photo format, as explained below:

• The photograph MUST be in colour and have only a white background.
• The photograph must have been taken within the last six months.
• The photograph must be submitted glued to the application form.
• The photo submitted must measure: 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms with the head centred in the frame. The head (measured from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin) should measure about 3 cms.
• The photograph must be a full-face front view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
• In general, the applicant's head, including both face and hair, should be shown from the crown of the head to the tip of the chin on top and bottom and from hairline side-to-side. It is preferable that ears be exposed.

Please follow these instructions carefully. If the photograph presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete.

The visa application must be made not earlier than 6 months prior to the travel date, and seamen – 9 months prior to the travel date.

Please, note that you need to apply for a visa at least 30 days prior to your intended travel date. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a processing time can be extended up to 45 calendar days.

Note: Number of pages: 4 (the form must be printed back-to-back). The visa application form must be signed by the applicant. Visa application form for minor children is to be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
